RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season Season 08 Episode 03 Description
RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 8 continues with more fun and fashion as the queens have to transform everyday supermarket items into supermodel-worthy fashions in “The Supermarket Ball”. The guest judge is Jojo Siwa.
For their mini-challenge, the queens have to play a game of “Reading Is Fundamental”, where they have to throw shade at each other using witty insults. The winner of the mini-challenge is Kandy Muse, who earns a $2,500 gift card from Anastasia Beverly Hills. For their main challenge, the queens have to create three runway looks using items from the supermarket: a “Fresh Produce” look, a “Canned Goods” look, and a “Frozen Foods” look.
The runway looks are as follows:
Alexis Michelle: A lettuce dress, a tomato soup can dress, and an ice cream cone dress.
Darienne Lake: A corn husk dress, a tuna can dress, and a frozen pizza dress.
Heidi N Closet: A watermelon dress, a baked beans can dress, and a popsicle dress.
Jaymes Mansfield: A pineapple dress, a spam can dress, and a waffle dress.
Jessica Wild: A banana dress, a corned beef can dress, and a frozen peas dress.
Jimbo: A carrot dress, a sardines can dress, and an ice cream sandwich dress.
Kahanna Montrese: A grapefruit dress, a green beans can dress, and a frozen fries dress.
Kandy Muse: A strawberry dress, a chili can dress, and a frozen burger dress.
LaLa Ri: An apple dress, a soup can dress, and a frozen corn dog dress.
The judges critique the runway looks and announce that Jimbo, Jessica Wild, and Kandy Muse are the top three queens of the week. They also announce that Alexis Michelle, Darienne Lake, and LaLa Ri are the bottom three queens of the week.
Jimbo wins the main challenge and earns the power to eliminate one of the bottom three queens. He also has to lip sync for his legacy against a lip sync assassin, who turns out to be Monique Heart from seasons 10 and 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race and season 4 of All Stars. They lip sync to “Dancing Queen” by ABBA.
Jimbo wins the lip sync and reveals that he chose to eliminate LaLa Ri. LaLa sashays away and joins the Fame Games competition.
The episode ends with a preview of the next episode, where the queens have to create and star in their own sickening scripted TV series trailers in “The Golden Age of Television”.
